Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has slashed £200,000 off the price of his luxury English mansion as he bids to offload it.The Parkhead boss, 51, bought the upmarket property in an exclusive street in Wilmslow, Cheshire, for £3.95m in the summer of 2022.
He put the house up for sale for offers over £4.2m last August but after struggling to find a buyer has reduced the asking price to £4m.
The stunning property comes with five bedrooms, a gym, landscaped gardens, a double garage and a bar area. It also features CCTV, underfloor heating, air conditioning in most of the bedrooms, electronically operated blinds and speakers in the ceilings.
Planning permission has also been granted for 'leisure facilities' to be created. Property agent Sofia Da Silva said: "Immaculately presented to a very high specification, every part of this property is finished exceptionally." A description of the mansion added: "An exceptional double gable-fronted contemporary residence finished to an uncompromising standard located on one of Wilmslow's most prestigious roads." Legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson put his home on the same street up for sale for £3.5m last November following the death of his beloved wife Cathy.
