The latest biographical tale to hit Netflix is the epic thriller Sergio. From director Greg Barker, who previously made the 2009 documentary film of the same name, Sergio follows the life of a real-life Brazilian hero and peacemaker named Sérgio Vieira de Mello, who worked as a United Nations diplomat for more than 34 years.
In the film, Sérgio is portrayed by Brazilian actor Wagner Moura, who is famous for playing drug kingpin Pablo Escobar in the hit Netflix series Narcos.
Also starring in the film is Cuban beauty Ana de Armas, who has won acclaim for her roles in films such as Blade Runner 2049 and Knives Out, and is due to appear as femme fatale Paloma in the upcoming James Bond film No Time To Die.
