Netflix's runaway success Squid Game is set to return for a second season and its final cast members have been revealed. Production of season two is set to start later this year and one huge star has been named as one of the new actors involved.
This week the cast members and showrunners gathered together for the first time and carried out their first table read. The show is expected to be a huge success after the Korean horror series, which sees contestants compete in a series of deadly games for a life-changing amount of money, captured the imagination of viewers around the world.
Speaking about the cast, a spokesperson for Netflix said: "From rising stars to veteran actors, the ensemble cast boasts a diverse range of talent and experiences.
Director Hwang Dong-hyuk, who won an Emmy for the first season, will return to direct and executive produce the entire second season."
