Netflix is increasing prices this year. The new prices will go up by about $1 to $2.50 depending on the plan you have, though it’s not immediately clear when the new prices will go into effect.
Netflix said in a letter to investors, “As we continue to invest in programming and deliver more value for our members, we will occasionally ask our members to pay a little more so that we can re-invest to further improve Netflix.
To that end, we are adjusting prices today across most plans in the U.S., Canada, Portugal and Argentina (which was already factored into the 2025 guidance we provided in October 2024).” So, what are the new prices? The Standard plan without ads will increase from $15.49 per month to $17.99 per month. This plan provides two simultaneous HD streams.
