Netflix is removing all of these movies in August
nme.comNetflix UK this August, including a few horror staples.A list of all the titles departing the platform next month has emerged (via What’s On Netflix), with fans not having long to catch the likes of Cloverfield and Jigsaw.Also set to depart the streamer are Margot Robbie’s I, Tonya, Matt Damon’s Elysium and Denzel Washington’s Glory.The 1999 psychological drama Girl, Interrupted, which stars Angelina Jolie, and 2011’s The Iron Lady starring Meryl Streep, will also disappear from the platform next month.The Little Prince, which was actually one of Netflix’s first animated originals, has also been confirmed to be leaving, having departed from the US site in 2021.In other Netflix news, the streamer recently axed its cheapest ad-free plan in the US and UK.
The basic tier, which was priced at £6.99 a month in the UK and $9.99 in the US, is no longer available for new and returning members.However, users who are currently subscribed to the plan will be able to keep the subscription as long as they don’t cancel or change plans.The full list of film titles leaving Netflix in August is below:August 1August 3August 4August 5August 6August 7August 8August 10August 11.
