Crew members working on the series are said to have shared their discomfort about forthcoming scenes.They have also reportedly begun "pushing back" on some of the ideas being suggested by show bosses - who have assured fans the exact moment of the crash impact won't be shown on screen.A set source told The Sun: "To be going back to Paris and turning Diana’s final days and hours into a drama feels very uncomfortable.“Finally, some of the crew members are pushing back on the ideas being tabled."The show always tried to present a fictional version of royal history with as much sensitivity as possible but lately, as things get closer to the present day, it feels harder to strike that balance."With some of those moments still so fresh and upsetting, it feels as though a line is being crossed."The concerns come as royal biographer William Shawcross slammed The Crown for its "odious" and "deliberately hurtful" depiction of the Royal family.In a letter to The Daily Telegraph, he wrote: "The Crown is an odious series, filled with lies and half-truths encased in lace and velvet."It is astonishingly and deliberately hurtful to individual.
