First pictures of Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II in new The Crown series

Olivia Colman and Claire Foy have both previously held the main roles, and today the streaming site released the first official picture of Imelda Staunton as the Queen.
Like her character, Imelda, 66, will be hoping she has done her duty for the audience when she is unveiled, writes the Mirror.
She said: “What has been nice, and I hope I don’t prove them wrong, is people saying, ‘I’m really looking forward to seeing her as the Queen.
