A Netflix comedy that's being compared to cult classic Superbad has broken into the streamer's top ten. Incoming released on the platform last month and is currently number six on the UK film charts.
Its synopsis reads: "Four freshmen in high school get ready for their first school party, they're preparing themselves for something unfamiliar and terrifying." Mason Thames, Ramon Reed, Raphael Alejandro and Isabella Ferreira star in the teen comedy.
Bardia Seiri, Loren Gray and Ali Gallo also star. The film is directed and written by David and John Chernin, who have previously written for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
The Chernins told Netflix how they love high school comedies. They cited Superbad, as well as Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Can’t Hardly Wait, as inspirations.
