Manchester United legend Nemanja Vidic has named the defender he believes to be the best centre-back in the world. The Serbian defender made a name for himself at Old Trafford, making over 200 Premier League appearances for United between 2005-2014.
During that time he won five Premier League titles, three League Cups, a Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup. Since the respective departures of Vidic and Sir Alex Ferguson, success has stalled at Old Trafford.
However, speaking to The Athletic, the 40-year-old made it clear that one player would significantly improve United, suggesting that his only weakness is that he's playing for the wrong club.
