Odsonne Edouard could stay at Celtic past the summer. The France Under-21 striker is out of contract in the summer of 2022 and widely expected to leave Parkhead this summer.However, a move to Leicester City has seemingly collapsed with the club holding out for top dollar for their talisman.

It has been reported that Celtic are digging their heels in over his valuation as they look to rebuild their squad under Ange Postecoglou.

When asked by talkSPORT if he thought the Frenchman would leave Celtic Park this summer, the former boss said: “(Edouard) is a mercurial player, he’s very talented."He’s French though, so he can be a bit temperamental in a quiet sort of way. "But he’s a wonderful player.
