Neil Lennon

Neil Francis Lennon (born 25 June 1971) is a Northern Irish football coach and former player who is the manager of Scottish Premiership club Celtic. During his playing career he represented English clubs Manchester City, Crewe Alexandra and Leicester City.

Lennon moved to Scottish club Celtic in 2000, where he made over 200 appearances and was appointed captain in 2005. Before retiring as a player, he returned to England and played for Nottingham Forest and Wycombe Wanderers. Lennon made 40 appearances for Northern Ireland in nine years, scoring two goals. Lennon was appointed manager of Celtic in March 2010, initially in a caretaker capacity after the departure of Tony Mowbray.

SPFL as blocking the start of the new season would send shockwaves through Scottish football. The Celtic boss has sympathy for the plight of the relegated sides following the decision to curtail last season.

Tynecastle chief Ann Budge has kicked off a legal bid with the Jags and threatened to slap in an injunction to half the big kick-off on August.

Lennon said: “It would be a huge blow for everyone if the season wasn’t able to start on time for legal reasons. We’ve had a long time without football for players, managers, supporters, everyone.“I don’t know if an interdict to halt the start of the season is feasible.

But I’d just hope the SPFL, Hearts and Thistle can come to some sort of agreement, whether it’s compensation or whatever.Get.
