Neil Gaiman’s ex-wife Amanda Palmer has denied allegations of negligence and human trafficking, after being named in a lawsuit filed by a former female employee of the couple.
Earlier this week, civil lawsuits were filed in the US against the formerly married couple, with their former New Zealand nanny Scarlett Pavlovich alleging that Gaiman had committed assault, battery and inflicted emotional distress (which he denies), and also alleging Palmer’s negligence and involvement in trafficking.
Now BBC news reports that Palmer has taken to social media to deny in broad terms the complaints made against her, while saying she would not respond to specific allegations.
Palmer wrote on Instagram: “I thank you all deeply for continuing to respect my recent request for privacy as I navigate this extremely difficult moment.
