justjared.comThe Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular is happening this weekend and NBC just announced the star-studded list of performers who will entertain audiences at home.
The two-hour live telecast will air live from New York City and Today Show anchor Craig Melvin will host the festivities.
Things are going to be a bit different this year with the fireworks show. In order to prevent crowds from gathering to watch the fireworks show, there will be five-minute displays popping up all week long in New York City.
The surprise shows will launch unannounced on select nights all across the city. There will also be a live grand finale on Saturday night when the show airs, according to People.
