The National Lottery is urging people to check their tickets after a handful of lucky players became millionaires over the weekend.
Ticket holders in the UK had luck on their side this weekend as 13 players became millionaires, banking a combined total of over £40m.
However, the search is on for the missing four winners who are yet to come forward to claim their prizes.On Friday, one UK player scooped a life-changing £23.6m share of the £47m EuroMillions jackpot, which has now been claimed by the winner.One lucky Lotto player also scooped the £7.4m jackpot prize on Saturday, while a second player matched five main numbers plus the Bonus Ball to win £1m - both of these prizes are waiting to be claimed.What's more, the EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker event draw created 10 guaranteed UK millionaires.
While eight of these prizes have received claims, the other remains to be collected. This leaves a total of four unclaimed millionaire prizes: the two EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker winners, the missing Lotto jackpot ticket-holder and the Lotto five plus Bonus Ball winner.
