Everton defender Nathan Patterson insists he is looking forward to the English Premier League campaign amid reports that he could be set to leave Merseyside.
The right-back has endured a torrid time since leaving Rangers in January for The Toffees after signing for Rafa Benitez, when the Spaniard was quickly replaced by Frank Lampard following the 20-year-old's arrival south of the border.
He has made just one appearance under Lampard against Boreham Wood in the FA Cup, during which he was subbed at half-time, before picking up an ankle knock that ended his campaign.
However, Patterson is back to full fitness and he has been handed a chance in pre-season to impress Lampard and his coaching staff, with the latest appearance coming against Blackpool amid speculation he could be set to leave Goodison Park.
