Frank Lampard has revealed former Rangers star Nathan Patterson put his hand up to hit a penalty against Celtic in their Sydney Super Cup clash.
The 21-year-old Scotland international played the full 90 minutes of the goalless draw and then stepped up from the spot to help Everton secure a 4-2 win over Ange Postecoglou 's side.
And he was in a ferocious battle with Jota from first minute until the former Benfica winger departed in the closing stages.
Patterson loved it as he fired past Joe Hart and his firm finish raised a smile out of Lampard as he saluted his charge after his strike from 12 yards out.
