But Adam is adamant that Ibrox is the best place for Patterson, as he insisted the full-back shouldn't follow his own path by going out on loan to earn more game time.
He told The Herald : "He is still young and is still learning the game. He hasn't even played 20 games for Rangers yet. He has still got a lot to learn.
