Nathan Ake says that he is ecstatic to have scored his first Champions League goal as Manchester City ran out 6-3 winners over RB Leipzig on Wednesday.
Ake was unfavoured to start ahead of the match, with most City fans expecting one of John Stones or Aymeric Laporte to partner Ruben Dias, who was given the captaincy on the night.
However, Guardiola revealed ahead of the tie that Stones and Laporte would be sitting out with injuries sustained over the international break, giving the Dutchman the opportunity to impress in front of a home crowd.
