Yan co-wrote the pic with James Pedersen. Portman, Jonathan King, Ash Sarohia, Tom McCarthy, Rae Baron, Sophie Mas and Zola Elgart Glassman are producing.
The film follows a desperate gallerist who conspires to sell a dead guy at Art Basel Miami. If deals were to close, the film would become quite the package by teaming the Oscar-winner with one of Hollywood’s biggest rising stars.
Portman is coming off her Golden Globe nominated role in the critically acclaimed Netflix drama May December. She recently wrapped production on the Apple and Skydance adventure pic Fountain of Youth.
