EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy has opened up about the guilt she feels over balancing her career and family life.The actress, who is best known for playing Sonia Fowler in the popular soap, admitted in a recent interview that she often feels "guilty" about not being able to spend more time at home.

Earlier this year, Natalie announced her departure from EastEnders after portraying Sonia for over three decades, stating she was ready to explore "pastures new".

The actress resides in Hertfordshire with her fiancé, Marc Humphreys, and their two daughters, Eliza and Joanie. When asked how she juggles her personal life with her professional commitments, Natalie stressed the importance of seizing "opportunities" after leaving Albert Square.

Speaking to Closer magazine, she confessed: "It's hard. You feel guilty about not spending more time at home, but you need to take the opportunities when they come along to earn money." The 41-year-old mum-of-two further added: "You have to accept that not every bit of your life can be perfect all the time.
