NASA has recorded the sound of a black hole for the first time ever - and it sounds eerie. The amazing feat was achieved as a result of the "echoes", which are space phenomena released in the form of X-rays.In 2003, NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory detected the waves in the Perseus galaxy cluster.

This black hole gained celebrity status in science after an image was released from the Event Horizon Telescope (EHT) project in 2019.NASA added: "The sound waves were extracted in radial directions, that is, outwards from the centre.
