NASA and SpaceX will launch two astronauts into space tomorrow as part of a historic mission. The mission will see astronauts Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley launched into space on board a Falcon 9 rocket, on a 400 kilometre journey to the International Space Station.
The launch is set to take place at 16:33 EDT (21:33 BST) from Kennedy’s Launch Complex 39A. This marks the first time humans have been launched from the US since 2011.
Kathy Lueders, manager of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program, said: “We’re burning down the final paper. All the teams are a go, and we’re continuing to progress toward our mission. “I’m very proud of the team.
