Donald John Trump (born June 14, 1946) is the 45th and current president of the United States. Before entering politics, he was a businessman and television personality. Trump was born and raised in the New York City borough of Queens, and received a bachelor's degree in economics from the Wharton School. He took charge of his family's real-estate business in 1971, renamed it The Trump Organization, and expanded its operations from Queens and Brooklyn into Manhattan.

The company built or renovated skyscrapers, hotels, casinos, and golf courses. Trump later started various side ventures, mostly by licensing his name. He owned the Miss Universe and Miss USA beauty pageants from 1996 to 2015, and produced and hosted The Apprentice, a reality television show, from 2003 to 2015. Forbes estimates his net worth to be $3.1 billion.

A member of the Democratic Party, Biden is the presumptive Democratic nominee for president in the 2020 election. He unsuccessfully sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 1988 and in 2008.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called for Vice President Mike Pence and the cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove Donald Trump from office.If they don’t, she told reporters on Thursday, “Congress may be prepared to move forward with impeachment.

That is the overwhelming sentiment of my caucus and the American people.”“While it is only 13 days left, any day can be a horror show,” Pelosi told reporters.

Joe Biden takes office on Jan. 20.Pelosi did not give a timeline for Pence to respond. “I don’t think it will take long to get an answer from the Vice President,” she said.Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer called for Trump to be removed immediately earlier on Thursday, joining with others in the party who have urged such an action.
