Two men have been caged for torturing a man in a 12-hour ordeal where they stripped him naked and a woman's name on his forehead with a knife.Wayne Butler and his co-accused Stephen Dixon's actions were "like something out of a Tarantino horror film", a court heard.Victim Matthew "Jimmy" Williams had four teeth pulled out with a door hinge during the ordeal in Llanidloes, Wales on July 17 this year.Williams also had darts thrown at him as Butler and Dixon demanded money, sending "horror" photos to the victim's brother, and police were called, Wales Online reports. The victim believed he would have been killed if officers hadn’t discovered him or be found "dead in a river" if he revealed who tortured him, Mold Crown Court heard.
The scenes were described as being "like something out of a Tarantino horror film" by prosecutor John Wyn Williams Butler. The torture began when Butler found the victim Matthew "Jimmy" Williams stood over Butler's girlfriend Molly, who had overdosed on drugs, in the bathroom at about 3.30am.Butler thought the victim might have taken advantage of the woman and blamed him for the overdose.
He stormed into the nearby flat that Mr Williams shared with Dixon "in a rage". The court heard Butler punched Mr Williams and carved the name Molly onto his forehead.
Dixon spat household ammonia in Williams' face.A plastic bag was then held over Williams' head and Butler tried to suffocate him.
