Nacelle Hires Nikki Barbanell To Head Business & Legal Affairs

EXCLUSIVE: Nacelle (The Toys/Movies That Made Us, Disney’s Behind the Attraction, The Center Seat: 55 Years of Star Trek) has brought on former DreamWorks Animation exec Nikki Barbanell as VP, Business & Legal Affairs.

In her role, Barbanell oversees all aspects of Nacelle’s business and legal affairs for the development, production and distribution of its television and feature length projects, IP acquisitions, consumer products and the NacelleVerse.

Barbanell most recently served as VP of Business Affairs at DreamWorks Animation, headed Business Affairs at Idea and Design Works, and held business affairs roles Universal Content Productions, Live Nation Productions, and at Netflix.

She previously co-founded the boutique lawfirm, Martinez Barbanell LLP, which represented production companies, distribution companies, producers, directors and writers in the financing, production and distribution of independent motion pictures.
