The coroner’s report into the death of British TV doctor Michael Mosley has revealed further details into the tragic final moments of the popular presenter and writer on a Greek island holiday.
Mosley died in early June 2024 after he got lost during a mountainous walk and collapsed on the island of Symi in the Aegean Sea, only one day into his holiday with his wife and friends.
The Sun newspaper reports that the coroner’s report labelled the exact reason why Mosley died as “indeterminate” and “unascertainable” – while suggesting that two probable causes included heatstroke or a non-identified pathology.
Foul play and suicide were both ruled out. The doctor had made the fateful decision to separate from his group and walk back to his holiday home from Pedi Beach, where they had arrived mid-morning by ferry from another part of the island.
