A mystery La Liga player went incognito in order to play in Gerard Pique’s Kings League. The Barcelona legend has set up the new seven-a-side format in Spain.

Team presidents include former Spain teammate Iker Casillas and Manchester City record goalscorer Sergio Aguero. Pique announced his retirement from the professional game in November after leaving the Camp Nou and has been promoting his new venture.

And he teased the involvement of an unknown La Liga star, who was deep undercover after not being given permission by his club to take part.

But he did so anyway, sporting a Mexican wrestling mask and black base layer with long sleeves, suggesting that he could be identified by arm tattoos.
