Airdrie has reportedly gone missing. Friends and relatives are searching for John McGuigan who vanished following the blaze at his home in Ewart Street.

John’s final Facebook post written shortly before the alarm was raised in the town’s Ewart Street said: “Good people are like candles; they burn themselves up to give others light.”His pals have since posted messages of concern and support online as they seek to try to find John.One wrote: “Please please please get in touch buddy with someone anyone, even if you just need some space please just reach out.
