Much-loved nurse Fiona Andrews, from Wigan, has worked at Derian House Children’s Hospice since the charity first opened its doors in 1993 - back when a pint of milk cost just 34p and Jurassic Park hit cinema screens.

After decades of support for families during their most difficult times, she is preparing to spend more time baking her famous lemon drizzle cake and enjoying her hobby of line dancing.
