His name was Brandon and to almost everyone at Glasgow’s Bearsden Academy, he seemed a bit odd. This new pupil was much taller than the other students, said he was from Canada and, well, his face looked…strange.
At least for a 15-year-old in 1995. But if you made inquiries, Brandon had answers for everything. Until he didn’t. That true-life scenario sets the stage for Jono McLeod‘s entertaining documentary, “My Old School,” which makes its world premiere at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival this weekend.
