There are some new arrivals hoping to find love on the latest hit dating show, My Mum, Your Dad. Hosted by Davina McCall, the dating show for an older generation is set to welcome a new host of hopeful arrivals, including dad Martin who admitted he's not had the best of luck when it comes to dating apps. The 50-year-old, who is originally from Derby but now lives in Ibiza, revealed that his dating history can only be described as "interesting".
And when it comes to taking chances and putting himself out there, Martin is "much more of a face-to-face person" and has pretty much sworn off internet dating entirely after a few mishaps.
He said: "I’d rather meet a woman in a bar, initiate conversation. I’ve had three dates from an app, two were a disaster, one was OK.
Luckily, here in Ibiza you tend to meet a lot of people. " Thankfully, that's where My Mum, Your Dad comes in as the producers - alongside the contestants' children - play cupid and set them up on 'real' dates.
