After two nail biting weeks of daily romantic drama, ITV’s brand new dating show My Mum, Your Dad came to it’s exciting conclusion on Friday night.
Unlike other dating shows such as Love Island which attracted a much younger demographic, the new format show hoped to connect single parents together in the hope of finding love - all while under the watchful eye of their grown up children.
Hosted by Davina McCall, the show has been an emotional rollercoaster from start to finish, with several promising couples formed along the way.
In the season’s grand finale, the truth was finally revealed to the parents that their children had been watching their interactions over the past fortnight - before they gave their all important blessings to their parents as to whether or not they would be happy for them to continue their blossoming romances.
