‘My Fault: London’ Directing Duo Look To Build On The Success Of ‘Culpa Mia’ With Their English-Language Version Of The Hit Romantic Drama

The Spanish-language adaptations of Mercedes Ron’s Culpables novels have been smash-hits on Prime Video – Culpa Tuya is Prime Video’s most successful international original ever.

That meant the pressure was on first-time directing duo Dani Girdwood and Charlotte Fassler as they took on helming the English-language adaptation of the first chapter in the series, Culpa Mía.

Their film relocates the action to England and My Fault: London launches in time for Valentine’s Day, dropping on on February 13.

Asha Banks (A Good Girl’s Guide To Murder) and Matthew Broome (The Buccaneers) play Noah and Nick, roles made famous on-screen by Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara in the Spanish movies. “There was something lovely about the fact that we’re a duo and we were working primarily with these two leads who became a duo in their own right,” Fassler says. “It was a first feature for all of us.
