When Jacqueline Hume and her two children moved into their council house in the early 1990s, it was the perfect size. She was so fond of the three-bedroom home that she decided to lay down roots and raise her family there.

The 58-year-old has multiple sclerosis and is looking for a bungalow for her and her Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Bella. Except it has not been easy.
Ms Hume claims she has spent the last seven years trying to move out of her house, in Halliford Road, Moston, but has not found anywhere suitable.
