EXCLUSIVE: Mustafa Speaks (Joe Pickett) has been set for a recurring role on Paramount+‘s Billy Bob Thornton-led drama Landman from creators Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace.

The actor will play Boss, one of the more experienced roughnecks on Tommy’s (Thornton) crew, who’s tough-as-nails and has seen it all.

In addition to Thornton, series regulars will include Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, Jacob Lofland, Kayla Wallace, James Jordan, Mark Collie, Paulina Chávez, and Demi Moore.

Others set to recur include Jon Hamm and Colm Feore. Based on the 11-part podcast Boomtown, Landman is a modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs, an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy, and our geopolitics.
