'Murder in a Small Town' Renewed for Season 2 at Fox!

Murder in a Small Town is getting a second season. Fox confirmed a second season of the crime drama, based on the Karl Alberg series of novels by L.R.

Wright. This is Fox’s first renewal of live-action scripted TV show for the 2025-26 season, via THR. Season 1 came to an end in November. Keep reading to find out more… “We look forward to giving fans a second season of Karl Alberg’s unmatched expertise as a crime solver in Murder in a Small Town,” Fox’s Brooke Bowman said in a statement. “We’ve enjoyed a terrific partnership with Sepia and Future Shack and our incredibly talented cast and crew and can’t wait to see what’s in store for our characters next season.” Murder in a Small Town follows Karl Alberg (Rossif Sutherland), who moves to a quiet, coastal town as an escape from the burdens big-city police work.

He quickly learns, however, that his new home has more than its share of secrets, and he will need to use all the skills that made him a world-class detective in solving cases that continue to wash up on his shore. Kristin Kreuk also stars in the series.

Th first season stars James Cromwell, Stana Katic, Mya Lowe, Savonna Spracklin, Aaron Douglas, Fritzy-Klevans Destine, Katey Wright and Dakota Guppy.
