A mum has spoken of her "rollercoaster" cancer battle after an "easily ignored" sympton led to her diagnosis on Christmas Eve.
Christine Amyes first noticed that she needing to use the toilet more than usual in late 2021, Manchester Evening News reports.
Although not overly concerned and having no other symptoms, the 61-year-old decided to book an appointment with her GP and was referred for further tests.
A few months later on the night before Christmas, she was giving the heartbreaking news that she was suffering from bowel cancer - and needed surgery urgently.
