A mum who killed her three-year-old son has been released from prison just over six years into an 11-year sentence. Rosdeep Adekoya, 41, was jailed after she beat her son Mikaeel Kular to death after he was sick following a family meal at Nando’s.

The Daily Record has reported that she was freed from Cornton Vale prison in Stirling, Scotland, this weekend. Adekoya, from Edinburgh, brutally attacked her boy over four days in January 2014 leaving him with 40 injuries on his body.

The mother, who has four other children, then stashed his body in a suitcase before dumping it behind her sister’s house in the Scottish town of Kirkcaldy.
