Tameside mum Nichola Galley has only ever wanted the best for her disabled daughter Ava. The teenager was born with a genetic disorder so rare it doesn’t even have a name – leaving her tube fed, non-verbal and unable to walk by herself.

Nichola, 43, has spent years scouring Rightmove in search of a suitable property but has never had any luck. But the family’s dream of a new home may finally be in reach after scooping a lottery jackpot win.
Last month, Nichola pocketed a £55,555 share of her neighbourhood's prize in the People's Postcode Lottery. The mum bagged the money along with 16 other neighbours after their Dukinfield postcode - SK16 5AZ - was announced as the winner of the Millionaire Street prize.
