Mum turns green after epic fake tan fail - and warns others how to avoid it

Mum-of-two Jenni Coleman says she was left looking like the "Wicked Witch of the West" after makig an epic fake tan fail. The 35-year-old from Manchester noticed an odd green tinge as she applied a couple layers of tan before bed one night - but "cracked on" anyway.

It was only when she woke up the next morning that she realised her huge mistake. The mum said: "When I saw myself the following morning I nearly cried, it wasn't great, I just couldn't believe it." Instead of sunkissed, Jenni was green from head to toe.

She said the fake tan fail was shared by her friend Jan as a throwback picture from four years ago as a joke that lockdown would be 'a good time to work on your tan'.
