Mum ‘taken aback’ after neighbour tries to enforce rules for her garden

A mum has shared her annoyance at being told to stop exercising in her own garden by her neighbours. The woman, from Scotland, had started doing high intensity interval training (HIIT) outside to “shift the baby weight” after recently giving birth.

Sharing the incident on parenting forum Mumsnet, she revealed how one morning after a workout her neighbour came round to her house and asked if she could exercise indoors.

He told her that they were “watching their fish” in their garden and the noise was disturbing them, EdinburghLive reports. The new mum wrote: "I had a baby a few months ago and trying to shift the baby weight which I have gained.
