Mum's relief as education bosses in Lanarkshire find school place for daughter

A Wishaw mum has expressed her delight and relief in almost equal measures after her daughter was provided with an ASN school placement.It’s suspected that Danielle Ferrie’s five-year-old daughter Charleigh has low-functioning autism.Charleigh, who currently attends the ASN (additional support needs) hub within Shotts Family Learning Centre, often wears ear defenders and her verbal communication is limited to echolalia – her speech is repetitive and often has no context.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
