A mum has warned of the dangers of vaping after a few drags on an electronic cigarette left her teenage son fighting for his life.
Spencer Smith said he 'felt like he was going to die' as he collapsed to the floor after inhaling the vape. He did not know what the contents were and believed it was just a normal electronic cigarette, YorkshireLive reports.
His body started convulsing and he was rushed to A&E in an ambulance in what he described was the 'scariest moment of his life'.
His mum Suzanne Smith said the few drags on the vape 'very nearly' killed her son, who was just 16 at the time. Tests found the vape was actually laced with spice and benzodiazepines.
