The mum of an autistic teen who was beaten unconscious in a brutal attack in Glasgow has been invited to a sit-in with the Scottish Parliament to discuss youth violence.Abbie Jarvis, then 12, was lured to a skatepark in the city's Drumchapel on October 4, 2022, and set upon by another girl as others filmed the sickening scene on their phones.
The schoolgirl, now 13, was hospitalised for two days from her injuries and has since been diagnosed with PTSD.Following the beating, outraged community campaigner, Alex O'Kane, launched Abbie's Petition - urging the Scottish Government to to address the disturbing culture of youth violence.
