On Sunday, September 12, schoolboy Patrick Jones, aged ten, was out playing with his friends near his home at around 5.30pm when he came off his bike and hit his head on the pavement.
On impact, Patrick, from Rainhill, in St Helens, became unconscious and was found bleeding from the head as people nearby quickly came to his aid and rang an ambulance.
