Mum dies on son's motorbike during tribute ride after he died in motorcycle crash

A mum died during a memorial motorbike ride for her son who also died on the saddle. Diane Everett lost control of her late son's Honda while riding as part of a group on Saturday.

The 51-year-old went down into a ditch and smashed into a large underground drain, causing her to fly off the bike. She was rushed to hospital in a critical condition where she died later that day.

Diane's stepson Joshua Everett and his sister Amanda Everett were taking part in the ride for Michael Jnr. People ahead of them in the 80 person convoy signalled for them to slow down before urging them not to go on any further.
