Honey Sales was left heartbroken by the death of her son, Connor Marchbanks, 24, after he suffered bleed on the brain two years ago.
According to Chronicle Live, her home on Victoria Avenue, Forest Hall in Newcastle backs onto Benton Cemetery where her son is buried.
Honey had the gate installed on her garden fence in 2019 so that she had easy access to the cemetery to visit Connor's grave.She walks over to the site around three times a day.But on September 13, the grieving mum received a letter from North Tyneside Council telling her that her gate was against the rules and they would begin.
