A mum-of-two claims her doctor told her she was too young to receive an emergency screening after she discovered a lump - which turned out to be cancer.
Rebecca Allon, who was 28 at the time, made an appointment with her GP in December 2020 after finding an odd lump in her right breast.
However she was declined a emergency examination - which is offered to woman over 30 with similar symptoms within a two-week period - due to her age and the fact she has no history of breast cancer in her family.
Just one week later, she discovered another lump under her right arm and knew there was something seriously wrong, Hull Live reports.
