A mum has blasted a series of "terrible" school meals that leave her son coming home hungry every day. The woman claims children at the secondary school are only offered a bottle of water to drink with their meal.
After the mother's recent complaints, Royds Hall in Huddersfield, Yorkshire, has hit back, stating their food is nutritious and are eaten by staff as well as pupils.
However, the unnamed mum begged to differ, claiming the establishment has "gone downhill".She shared pictures of the meals at the secondary school with Yorkshire Live.
The mother said: "The school dinners are terrible - my child is coming home hungry and he just showed me some of the school dinners for the past week."The woman blames the school recently moving to a cheaper food service as the root of the issue.
