A helpless young mum-of-one says she and her seven-month-old baby have been left freezing in her property where the windows and doors won't shut properly.

Olivia Ashworth, 20, says her young daughter is constantly ill with the cold and claims she's having to spend hundreds of pounds a month on heating just to stay warm, the MEN reports.

The mother moved into her home in Whitefield in August last year and insists she had made multiple attempts to contact her housing association, Onward Housing, to get the issue sorted.

Video footage from inside the property shows Olivia running her fingers underneath the doors and between the gaps in her windows which she says is making the house unlivable.
